Seconded. (I actually crossed paths with you lol.) This is a world class amenity for the city. It's all amazing but the part in front of the Waterline is top tier. The views are great and all of this will only get better as the plants grow in and the hotel activates the creek area as well.

The MACC just finished their redevelopment too. I'd recommend that anyone visiting start at 4th St and work their way to the MACC before heading back.

So if I understand it right, there's not any thematic cohesion and continuity from Waterloo Park to 4th? That's a big gap from 4th up to 12th-15th Waterloo Park. All the creek tunnel work was seemingly going to support at grade/creekside improvement along the stretch. I thought wider Greenway work was already doing this and that the so-called "The Confluence" was the final puzzle/southern terminus.

Correct and that's part of the next phase unfortunately. Also, the park in front of Fairmont is part of the next phase as well

I don't know this for sure, but I am pretty confident that the Waterloo Greenway is set up in a similar manner to other public/private partnerships centered around parks like the Highline in NYC and Klyde Warren Park in Dallas. Because these places are privately managed, they hire their own security staff and they are likely going to be pretty proactive about moving anyone along who is trying to sleep or panhandle.
