People would be wise to not to assume what's true of the USA is true outside the USA. The vast majority of electricity production in Canada is
GREEN, regulatory controls are stricter (need to improve though), and Canada has the built in natural advantage of a colder climate. Data centres give off a lot of heat so we don't need to cool them down for much of the year.
Data centres are far more problematic in countries like the USA.
