Wrapping up the 10th floor walls and posts and cross beams this week. Have got a few of the roof slabs installed on the west end as well.

10th floor roof slab installation is now complete. Mechanical penthouse walls should be under way this week. Still no signs they have started excavation for the underground parking for tower 3 and 4. Still using that space for worker parking. Sales for tower 3 have already started so would expect them to quickly move to that part of the site and get the excavation and footings poured before winter.

Most of the external brick and stone veneer is now completed. Finishing up on the south and east side. Appears that most of the concrete crew has left and likely redeployed to Tricar's other project sites off Westdel Bourne and Westmount Estates. Would not be surprised that Tricar pauses work here at Northlink in 2023 and does not start on tower 3 construction due to the city rebuilding Sunningdale Rd between Wonderland and Richmond in 2023. They will likely have completed the apartment building on Westmount Estates and the two 4s condos off Westdel Bourne by end of 2023 and be able to return here to start tower 3 and 4. Would not be surprised they also hold off starting their 96 Ridout St project until after 2023 to allow the Ridout St bridge replacement project to complete as well.

Excavator and dump trucks clearing the large pile of dirt where towers 3 and 4 will be. Looks like they are wrapping up the exterior brick installs now.

Well it took a while but Tricar has finally removed the tower crane from building 2. Still finishing up the last bits of the exterior and alot of interior work is ongoing.

The lobby and common area furniture has been ordered, and are expecting a delivery date in January, usually happens just a few weeks before the first tenants move in.

Second building is pretty much finished, I units are in various stages of completion, I've got photos of the furnished lobby, common areas if anyone is interested in them as well.

These look decent and pricey. Anyone know what the rent rates are? (Just curious...I am not looking to rent as I own a house in Hyde Park)

They are actually condos, not rentals as the title says (and they aren't Sunningdale addresses either). One in the first building is listed right now for $1.068 million. Penthouse suite, 2 bed plus den, 2 bath, 1620 sq ft. Approx $1000/month in taxes and condo fees. It looks like it was for rent last summer for $4000/month

There's also a 1 bed, 1 bath, under 1000 sq ft on the first floor listed for $579k.

Looks like Tricar has applied for a building permit for building 3.


Suspect we will see the crew that did the Westmount Estate IV building return up to Sunningdale and Callaway this Fall.

Interesting to see HCM contractor and construction fencing now up on the east side of this project where Tricar has two more 10s condo buildings planned. Technically this would be Callaway Rd and not Sunningdale. HCM has brought in a caisson drilling rig and a couple of truck loads of steel pilings long enough for a pit for 2 levels of underground parking.


Tricar still hasn't sold all their Westdel Bourne condo units in the two 4s buildings they built a couple of years ago. Are they thinking the new build condo market is back to begin construction of another condo building? Maybe they are just going ahead with excavation of the pit and installing the shoring like they did for the 96 Ridout St building years ahead of actually starting construction.
