So the performers aren't even using the "stage" area at the North Atrium because its in the middle of the corridor?

Overall looks good, but some of the the corridors look pretty generic.

There was someone playing the piano during the media preview event so it's somewhere in one of the hallways with those leaves hanging down.

Had a great time, there was a line to get into Time Out Market when I got there but circled around and enter from the park. Was pricy and skeptical of how well the luxury retailers will do but I'll definitely be back to hang and eat at Oakridge.

some of the stores looked very busy. I don't know why people keep saying they don't think Luxury will do well in Vancouver, did people not know that the Nordstrom store here was one of the best top selling stores in the chain? or that Holt Renfrew can be packed on any given weekend. A few of the stores that had concessions in Nordstrom have opened stand alone stores at Oakridge. Vancouver has been home to luxury retailers for decades, The LV store downtown is one of a handful of the LV Maison level stores around the world and LV inside Holt Renfrew often has a lineup just to get inside.

This is a video I just watched. Nice to see so much of the outside is open and accessible,. Those mushroom or whatever sculptures outside there light up at night, as I had seen on another clip from yesterday. Looks good.

They've hidden the empty Hudson's Bay space quite well.
Any sign of what's going in on the level above the TimeOut Market? (escalator at the 2:30 mark)

It awesome and it's good to open early and work out kinks. Sound baffling would be a good start. Old people with money will stay away because of ambient noise. BIG ALSO: Money laundering through some of these very high end retailers. What type of security measures are in place to prevent criminal activity?

I think the park is split between 2/3. The section closest to the Cambie/41st intersection has a huge staircase going up. The running track (?) path has that giant loop ramp near the community centre (?) as well.

I'm going to go on Saturday. In one of the later vids posted the Time Out Market had a very long line and all ways to get in or out of it had security guards not allowing people in other than the one line, line up was probably 45-60 minutes just to get in around 5 pm I think the video guy said.

I went yesterday.
My impression is that it's nice and everything and the time out market is definitely very nice (and the food it's way better than a normal food court).

But it's not enough. Considering the scale of the project and the fact that you read everywhere "cultural hub of vancouver" but then you realize that there's actually nothing to do there.
Regardless the choice of stores (luxury) even if you go there to actually buy stuff there's not much to do after that.

At least for now there are no events, no actives, no galleries, nothing. It's basically a normal mall with a very nice food court.
Yes it just opened but I'm worried this is it and beside more store opening in the future they will not add anything else.

A cinema would definitely help, if I can go to the time out market and then watch a movie I can already call that a "night". But yes, they need activities other than stores or there's no reason for people living somewhere else to go there.
