On this I fully agree. Seven-11 does appear to be more slanderous and disingenuous towards certain markets while softer on others. Its pretty clear what Sev thinks of Winnipeg and Regina, which is not very much. It also doesn't help that Winnipeg media love to protray the city in a mostly negative light. Add these two facts together and you get the garbage we are reading such as in the aforementioned article.
And before the pile on starts, I'm not saying theft isn't an issue, because we all know it is, however it's happening in almost every city in Canada at nearly plague-like levels. This is a symptom of the justice system which is a Crown matter, as previously mentioned, so there is only so much a city and province can do in that regard.
