Progress on building new homes has progressed steadily in this new subdivision. Homes along the south end are nearing completion and homes are at various stages in the central area to the north. The road is still blocked on the east side but will likely be opened to allow thru traffic by this summer.

Many of the homes are now occupied and alot of progress in building the remaining lots is happening. Still have not opened up the east side access road.

Lots of activity clearing the NE corner of Pond Mills Rd and Deveron Cres. Building of a large stone block retaining wall along the Pond Mills Rd side in preparation for whatever is planned for this corner. Construction of homes in this sub division has slowed down as we have seen around the region with the new fiscal realities.

Ironstone has around 30 completed homes sitting vacant in this sub division they are calling The Grove. These are modest 2 story houses with a small garage and finished in siding for the most part. It's no mystery why they are not selling given the asking price of $755,900. I suspect the basements are unfinished as well.

They still have not opened the street on the east side to allow thru traffic either for some reason.

The NE corner at Pond Mills has been making alot of progress with the construction of 3 new townhouses behind the stone retaining wall. Not sure if these are Ironstone as well.

They have now completed the framing of the 3 story townhomes on the corner of Pond Mills and Deveron Cres. Three separate buildings with what appears to be 4 units each. Roofing and windows are already installed and drywall being delivered today.

Masonry contractor has started installing the exterior brick veneer on the townhouses on the corner. Drywallers and painters are also busy on the interiors for these units.

All the exterior brick is now installed and siding contractor is making good progress on the top floors on this group of 3s townhomes.

Looks like the first tenants have already moved into the 3s townhouses at the NE corner of Pond Mills and Deveron. The final exterior touch ups are happening on the last of the units. Landscaping is already underway with plantings in the ground. No signs of any new SFH construction starts on the remaining empty lots in this development.

They have now completed the 3s townhomes at the eastern end of Deveron Crescent. For some reason Deveron is still blocked off from Shelborne.


Still have a number of completed SFH sitting empty and for sale in this development. A number of empty lots are also up for sale but there is no construction activity currently.

Drewlo/Ironstone still has many of these SFH up for sale. This is a good example of how depressed the new home build market has been.

The Deveron road access has now been opened providing access to this area from the east side Shelborne St.
