Why would UT consider the Brack tract? Doesn't the CoA own it.

Travis County owns it. And yeah, buying it would add considerable expense to the medical campus.

What a bad-ass season this is about to be. It feels like everything is culminating and coming together at just the right time.

God help us if we fall flat.

A couple practice facility renderings I hadn't seen yet. I'm glad they went with the lighter color. It should help to keep it cool. CDC also said it'll have real grass.

We're about 4 months away from this baby being completed.

Just a passing photo of the ongoing restoration work occurring at the UT Tower:

They are assembling the vertical scaffolding this week on the north side. There is already large scaffolding enveloping the main mall on the other side

You can already see the bottom structure has had the spandrels restored. A video of how they are restoring them is in this article:

That wouldn't be in time for Fall Camp. That's definitely not the timeline. I looked it up and it's supposed to be finished in mid-July. Camp starts in late July.

I decided to go look at it today. I'll also be there Saturday at the Moody Center so I'll get another look then.

It's hard to tell through pictures but it has a kind of brownish-gray color. Definitely not light-colored. I think it looks good, though. It fits in with the other buildings they're building.
