This is the site of a proposed 18-story Marriott AC/Moxy hotel that replaces the original ~40-story hotel plans. I recall Urbannizer posting the updated hotel plans somewhere, but I don't see the post in this thread. From the developer MDG:

Lame that this prominent site is earmarked for only 18-stories. Who knows what actually happens here, they still haven't gotten the Embassy Suites/Tempo Hotel out of the ground.

The MDG website was recently updated to show this as 22-stories and 360 rooms, which is odd because Karlin is the current developer.
