As much as I like HEB, I don't like the logo there.

I had that same thought when first looking at it yesterday.

It was better without it.

Nice pic, but one of the least flattering view of the skyline. I'm trying to remember if I saw scaffolding on the tower in the 80's.

Town Lake kayaks on July 4th. Excited to finally see the Waterline crown lit up soon.

Nice perspective.

That will radically change for the better when the AAS acreage is all redeveloped.

I'm not on board with any idea or pie in the sky to bring MLB here as much as I love baseball (or anything else to Austin major league level), but I've said for years the Statesman site/area would be perfect for a ballpark. Home plate on the southeast, left foul line out due west parallel to Riverside Dr, center field/batter's eye closet to bridge/bat viewing area. etc. Would draw comparisons to PNC Park in Pittsburgh for the backdrop views. And would be adjacent to planned light rail routes.

An MLB stadium on that lot, would be amazing! Very similar to Pitt. Obvisouly I would want it to be more high rises, but I would also take MLB with a view
