I was just in the NYC area this past weekend and opted to stay in Jersey City about a block from the Newport PATH station. PATH was decent enough on Thursday & Friday, but it was an unpleasant experience over the weekend with longer wait times, crowded platforms and very crowded trains, and the clunky extra stop at Hoboken (with very slow movement through the rail junction zones) before reversing direction to head into Manhattan. Glad to hear they're finally improving the awful weekend service!
