Talking Quick Update!

Hey, San Antonio! Here's when each project can be expected to be complete, as per The Alamo's July 11th Update:

Alamo Promenade -- Late November 2025

Visitor Center & Museum -- 2027

Texas Cavaliers Education Center -- March 6, 2026

Alamo Cenotaph (Restoration) -- Prior to Fall 2025

Paseo del Alamo -- Early 2026

Houston North Streetscape -- No Current Estimate

The Promenade at East Commerce is pretty much done, I guess the fenced off area where the statues are will open tomorrow (Monday), it just needs gravel poured in where the tree line is. The statues from north to south are Sam Houston, Juan Seguin, Jose Antonio Navarro and courier John W. Smith.

Also, apparently a “grab-and-go cafe” is opening in the Alamo Gift Shop and will double as an event space. I wonder how Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie would feel if you could explain to them what Project Marvel is. They would probably think Tower of the Americas is some kind of guard post…
