Looks like ridership is continuing to improve.

Caltrain March 2026 ridership up 33.2% year over year. Currently up to 74.5% pre-pandemic ridership compared to October 2025's 62.2%, although it is largely boosted by weekend rather than weekday ridership, likely due to hybrid work schedules. Weekend ridership is doing really well, beyond pre-pandemic ridership.

Here's the breakdown for March 2026:
Average weekday ridership: 41,968 +29.5% 64.5% of pre-pandemic
Average Saturday ridership: 26,287 +39.9% 183.3% of pre-pandemic
Average Sunday ridership: 16,038 +39.2% 160.4% of pre-pandemic
