Revery posted a photo of the roof on the PNE amphitheatre and instead of that pixel mosaic pattern it looked like a bunch of thin horizontal slats.

So it'll either stay like that or they'll get covered and possibly have some lighting feature on the roof.

They look like they could be snow guards.

This press kit image calls them snowguards.. and it seems like they got rid of the block matrix pattern. There's some black dots evenly spaced facing the peak of the roof but they could just be attachment points.

Had a chance to tour the new St Pauls Hospital a few weeks ago. What a fantastic facility. It may be another year before it is fully open but will be worth it. Planning for future technology was Incorporated into this build.

just because I've been hearing of this neighborhood more often recently when 15 years ago it didn't seem so much

Its the same thing, one is just the anglicized pronunciation of the original squamish name, the other is a more accurate phonetic pronunciation of the name.

1905 Ogden Ave - Open house notice

If you ever enjoyed a day at the Vancouver Maritime Museum, this event is one you won’t want to miss. While the VMM hopes this proposed floating spa will keep their head above water, a group of hostile voices, including some Kits Point residents, hopes to sink them.

Already, duelling Change.org petitions have racked up over 2,600 signatures, though it’s impossible to say how many of those live in Metro Vancouver. Still, this will easily be the most heated open house in Kits Point, as there haven’t been any others in at least 10 years.
