Thanks! officedweller, that large assembly hall is the reason I started to capture this project,
I took much interest, when I found out after the demolition, that the Mosque was going to stay.

Great question. I Googled..."The 48-story One Wall Centre (completed in 2001) was among the first buildings in Canada to use a Passive Tuned Liquid Column Damper (TLCD) to control wind vibrations."
Looks like there are many types of damper, Google did not fully answer that question of buildings with a damper in Vancouver.
