Wonder what they're thinking they need to sell some of those 1,900sf 3-bed units and 1090sf 2-beds to get shovels in the ground (never mind the market / if people are interested to buy them in the next 10 years)

What's the price going to be? 3 beds in new rental highrises seem to be the last to rent out. Seems like for the money most families prefer a townhouse.

It depends what the amenities are, and how comparable the price per sf is. Many townhouse developments lack the amenities that tower complexes can have, which can be attractive a lot of families. With respect to square footage, 1000 sf on one floor in a tower can often feel much more spacious than a 1000 sf th split over multiple levels as space is wasted for stairs and circulation. If the prices per sf are similar or even slightly more for a tower, many might find the tradeoffs still worth it

Wow, you’d think they could’ve updated the names of the two tallest buildings

Probably just modified the original rezoning photos from 2018 (?) I was wondering why Butterfly and maybe Stack weren't included
