Pelli never disappoints. The Salesforce Tower in SF and 2IFC and HK basically had a child.

Perhaps not.

But that has nothing to do with this thread, as this tower was designed by Pickard-Chilton.

2IFC looks like its twin:

EDIT: Sorry, I meant 1IFC looked like the twin of Mutual of Omaha. In fact they are almost the exact same height.

I stand corrected, but it really looks like a Pelli building and someone mentioned that on the first page.

The topping out ceremony is supposed to be tomorrow.

Another good one from Brad Williams at EOmahaforums from the Iowa side of the Missouri River.

A few more great shots from unique angles from Brad Williams at EOmahaforums

The first two from ~6 miles west of downtown and the second two from ~2 miles south of downtown. The first photo also has the current HQ building in the shot as well to the right side of the photo.

Photos from Brad Williams at EOmahaforums

Mutual of Omaha's tower with Union Pacific's Big Boy locomotive in the foreground. Big Boy is the largest operational steam locomotive in the world. Union Pacific is touring it across the US for America's 250th.

The second photo you can see the scaffolding for the team putting the signage up on the tower.
