I noticed that too after posting. We don't need a 2.0 if it's the actual design (which I believe it is at the moment). Hopefully it changes as time goes on.

Yeah, a little more effort went into their 99 Trinity fantasy tower than this one.

Just came across this bit from the article:

“Though heights greater than 350 feet are possible if developers participate in the Downtown Density Bonus Program and get approval from City Council. TGE wants to first get the greenlight from the city that it would be able to build higher before it can close on the deal.”
Since the expected closing date of March 31st the city has drafted a new density bonus program allowing heights to reach 1,200 ft.

The City Council is expected to take up the proposal May 28.

Days after the meeting on the new program, the developer posted renderings of both projects. Hopefully it's a sign they now feel comfortable to close the deal.

I wouldn't give either of these (3rd & Congress & 99 Trinity) the time of day until the developer OWNS the land and site development plans have been submitted to the city.

Until those two things are met (at least), these are "visions."

Ugh, having the city's tallest along congress (or in the center of downtown) would be perfection.

I just ran this through AI detector---it's AI generated, more likely just to show how tall they can build. So we can expect a different design if this one gets going.

Wasn't there someone on here with really good Intel that said there is a major tower planned for this block? It may have been some years ago but I remember reading the comment. I can't remember the posters username.
