Urbantoronto is just legitimately a better forum interface with direct image hosting, etc.

It's a shame SkyRiseCities Hamilton subforum doesn't have linked threads with UrbanToronto. It's left hanging out with all the Toronto applications and doesn't have as much space for direct Hamilton-only discussions as here.

Yup it is disappointing - the other forum is just easier to use unfortunately. I still greatly prefer the map on SSP, and the diagram drawing feature here is something I love. I continue to update the map/database with Hamilton and area buildings, and I've tried copying posts/update from UT to here, but stopped as it ended up redundant when most users are already over there.

The Salvation Army is proposing to relocate its longstanding men’s homeless shelter from downtown Hamilton to Gage Avenue North, signaling a major change for the York Boulevard site that has served the community for years. The organization is partnering with the Hamilton Urban Precinct Entertainment Group (HUPEG), the development consortium behind the downtown entertainment district, to transform a vacant school building at Gage Avenue and Beach Road into a new facility centered on education and support services, moving away from a traditional emergency shelter model.
A minor variance application for the proposed use of 337 Gage Ave. Situated in an area that includes residential, industrial, and commercial properties is scheduled to be reviewed by the committee of adjustment in May.
