Thanks Changing City and jollyburger for the great information.
Now I have to look out for that episode to come out, so I can tell people, those are my tire marks on the dirt part of that street

They should just make each season a standalone story within that world with completely separate characters.
I think I understand the discontent, the Imgur posting Season 3 of The Last of Us - Production company Bear and Pear Productions Inc. is filming - April 13, 2026 is not being received with much enthusiasm, some are downvoting the post, it's a "meh" reaction

Yeah, on the bright side people are working, but unfortunately its for a (no pun intended) dead franchise. If you do want to watch it, I recommend just watching the first 5 episodes of season one. Those five episodes are amazing and actually work well enough as a self contained story. The rest of season one is watchable, but becomes disjointed and falls a little flat.

Season 2... is a dumpster fire.

It's based on a video game... personally I didn't mind S2 but I do think they should end it when the story/IP ends.

I will credit them for not giving Joel the Idiot Ball like they did in the game.

But yeah, I'm more hyped for Shogun's S2 (started filming here in January).

Speaking of filming:

Production of 'Tracker' moving from Vancouver to the States thanks to tax credit
Amir Ali
May 5 2026

After three seasons of being filmed in Vancouver, the production of a popular TV show is moving to the States, and it’s apparently thanks to a tax credit.

Tracker, starring Justin Hartley, is the show in question, a show that Deadline calls “one of the biggest” on television.

Deadline reported on the location shift, saying that the decision was recently finalized after the California Film Commission revealed its latest round of TV tax credits. Tracker was awarded $48 million on $129 million in qualified expenditures....

As I mentioned in another thread, film industry tax credits are just a race to the bottom. At some point it becomes not worth buying the work.
