If you're talking about the Harper Square project, there isn't much progress on it. I can see it from my office and they are still prepping to dig the foundation.

219-25 N Broad St is also in the pipeline of residential conversions around Hahnemann, according to ZP-2026-003422 pulled today. This one is a Drexel building. Permit is for 90 units

The Bellweather cranes are most likely for one of the new warehouses. Temple crane is for the new Klein building on Broad St:

Could be a false positive but I saw movement today at 257 S 16th St, the graffiti'd old tower across from Monk's. There's a large, open-topped dumpster stationed outside the building and a bunch of people taking trash out from inside the building.

Fingers crossed we see a full renovation here soon.

A special shout out to the MLB for not letting me in with my camera and long lens I've been bringing since 2018. I knew Comcast 1 and 2 would be orange and that's why I brought it...guess I'll go fuck myself! Shitty AI enhanced phone photos coming later

New owners, so work is likely moving forward. The new developer is "Zoria Housing / Zoria Construction". I cannot find much on them and their website is down...
Beautiful building, hopefully its get the TLC is deserves.

I appreciate the comments, but I whole heartedly disagree on "nice shots". I could've got WAY better photos with my camera. Live casino calls me a terrorist in 2023 for having a CAMERA BAG, now this? As a historical photographer I am greatly offended...but it's 2026 so no one factually and systematically cares

For christ sakes, if some overt like Zendaya had the same camera and lens as me they'd let her in because of her "fame" in less than the blink of an eye. One worker stopped me and said I couldn't bring my camera in. Then when I walked back in from the car all of the workers at the entrance were like "oh we're so sorry". If you were truly sorry you'd let me in with my camera! Later I talked to a worker on the 300 level and he said it depends on the worker...so fingers fucking crossed for the next game. I'm sure the next game they won't allow me to have my fucking phone in the park...or glasses. You know...something people need. Like me and my camera. OH WELL!

An update on the cold storage conversion on Columbus/Delaware Ave

https://www.phila.gov/media/20260414110541/40-Spring-Garden-St-Bldg-D-app-1.pdf

Proposed is a 3 story overbuild on top of a 2 story section, with ground floor retail. On the other hand, it appears theyre saying the overbuild on the main building will be reduced to a one story overbuild, which will still be a great conversion either way imo

Right!

Del Ave is absolutely BOOMING. It makes no sense that the only stretch that isn't is between Spring Garden and Race Street.
