Here's a different angle of Ottawa, from Carleton University's Dunton Tower (tallest building in Ottawa from an elevation perspective until Claridge Icon was built) looking north.

From postingaboutottawa on Skyrise.

I'm so glad that one of my favorite urban photographers has got themselves a drone. This is the perfect time of year for one with the amount of low level cloud and foggy days we get rolling in off the lake into the core.

This is a very cool photo. Is this type of fog fairly common?

I like the CN Tower better now that it is not so utterly dominating the Toronto skyline.

From urbottawa on Skyrise. The reflective monoliths are the smokes stacks for the rebuilt Federal heating and cooling plant that, with its three interconnected counterparts, could eventually connect thousands of buildings.

A friend of mine sent me this awhile ago I just forgot to post it. At the time it was on the 8th floor but that was the middle of January so it's definitely a floor or two taller now. As an aside much of the skyline that exists in the background didn't exist prior to 2020.

A photo from a few weeks ago from the same friend, they were on the 14th floor there. The second photo is from University, they're up to the 18th floor, roughly a floor a week. The cladding is up to the 10th floor.

A few from a recent Rail Fans Canada video. Both are from the west extension, which opens within a few years, towards Downtown.

From Kitchi Sibi Station.

From between Westboro and Tunney's stations (at Island Park).

That has a real big city vibe to it with the haze and different building clusters.
