Another thicc boy going up!

This one is close to topping out (the bridge/viaduct in front of the skyscraper and above the river is planned to be removed sometime in the future):

In the foreground, we can see this project that is also U/C - https://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=146934

This picture was taken from the Edogawa Ward side. Some of the highrises in the front (middle) may seem relatively close to the Nihonbashi 1-Chome Central District Project, but they're roughly 2.8 km (1.7 miles) away from it. Thanks to the help of Google Maps, it seems the photographer was some 8 km (5 miles) away from the skyscraper. The skyscraper on the left, also U/C, is this one - https://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=105481

Yeah, they're probably around 80 m x 80 m (260 ft x 260 ft). The upper floors are obviously smaller, due to the setbacks, while the lower floors are even bigger thanks to that part extending outwards from the tower.

Heights of setbacks, according to the article I used as source:
Quote:
The building is set back at a height of 116m (380 ft), which is the boundary between the low-rise and high-rise office floors. It then sets back again at a height of 207m (680 ft) to become a hotel, and the service apartments above that are set back again at a height of 252m (825 ft).

Views from Chuo-dori Ave. in Nihonbashi-Muromachi. It seems that construction has already reached the last floor.

(I'm posting smaller versions of the photos, because the original ones were too big to put here and looked kind of blurry/pixelated; check the source below to see the larger versions):

We can see this building in the video below (4:40 to 5:50). Also, this is the section of the road that will be removed in the future (they're building a tunnel).

While it'll be nice to see it gone at street level—opening up the river and the historical Nihonbashi bridge that are partially hidden below the viaduct—on the other hand, we'll lose this view while driving in between the buildings. Lose something, gain something, I guess.

It's now almost architecturally topped out! (except for the cladding)
Construction has moved to the upper section above the top floor.
