This project is coming along nicely. Excited to see it when it's completed!

From the previous page:

Quote:
“Originally, [we] designed two additional storeys to the original structure along with the new addition to be nine storeys, generating 148 residential units. Once we were deeper into the project, it was revealed by our geotechnical engineer that the footings on the historic structure were maxed out and adding the additional storeys would require specialized screw piling along the footing,” Buleziuk explains. “As a result, we decided to work with the structure as is.”

Looking good. The site really stands out in front of the Portage and Main cluster when coming in to the downtown from St Boniface.

I'll try to get this shot sometime. I saw exactly what you were saying when we were waiting for the light under the train tracks and it definitely shows itself against the backdrop of the skyline. it's an awesome sight to see. Now to just fill the rest of the land lots... haha

Should be closed in before you know it.

They've been loading tonnes of drywall into the existing structure, can only image how far along it is.
