If there’e one city in Canada that feels like Batman or Spiderman or Spawn would be right at home hanging out in it’s Montreal. Those spires and statues and church steeples mixed with Art Deco and modern towers are unmatched anywhere in North America outside maybe NYC.

It's a great image but if it's not ai why does it look...odd? The lense of the drone? It looks like a collage or a composite.

Picture taken from the spire of the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica, about 40km from Québec City.

That building in the foreground with it's Art Deco elements is a real beauty.

I love Québec's dramatic skyline. I've even made my peace with the 1970's brutalist government blocks and towers. To me it's perfect skyline. Because it's dramatic, iconic and unique. You can't confuse it for any other city.

A slightly different perspective of the Vancouver skyline looking down East Hastings St.

The Woodlands area of East Vancouver offer some nice slices of the skyline.

It looks like a soft focus and maybe some special qualities to the lens are creating that odd distortion to the image. I'm not sure, but there could be a physical filter used on the camera, in addition to whatever editting has been done.

It's an interesting study of urban photography, that's for sure.

Thanks for posting all these, Quebec really has some unmatched skylines.

Living here since 2011, I made peace with some of them, but not all of them.
I still can’t stand the Banque Nationale & Delta towers.

Banque Nationale tower’s top is an Antenna & cheap cladding mess…as for the Delta it’s just fugly…boring, bland…

My overall favourite among the tallests ones on the parliamentary hill is the Hilton.

It probably was a real photo that was manipulated in A.I either to up-res it, or clean it up a bit.

Taken by urbantoronto.ca member Kris on March 20th.

^ Is Concord Sky already topped out? If not, I'm not sure what building that is to the left of CN

Good catch. I have no idea what that is.

Given that the shape, size and location look exactly like renderings suggest that a completed Concord Sky would look from that angle, I suspect that it's either been photoshopped or AI altered.

The image is altered, someone "rendered" one of the bigger projects in (Not sure which one)

I think it's Aura, but at a funny angle.
