Fantastic looking podiums. Eastern tower in particular.

This is great stuff...Ottawa is turing into a proper big Capital city with all of these highrises going up!

Some millstones yesterday; the mechanical penthouse and structure is starting to be assembled, and first balcony railings.

Here's the structure coming out from the top.

And the railings, first closeups from myself.

And from a distance from Pat on RFC Community Discord.

Those are some good looking railings! Pretty classy for a budget-ish build.

If affordable housing can look like this then there's absolutely no excuse for Riverain.

It's pretty amazing how the building matches the renderings to a tee. I really hope Dream can get a few more LeBreton parcels, and I hope after Zibi is done, they can build a couple projects all over Ottawa each year.

Looks nice and pretty tall from most angles. I still wish we could've pushed for another 5-10 fl on these to really make an impact and break free from the tabletop.

I am a bit worried that it will be hidden by lesser taller buildings, for example the Claridge towers across the tracks.

These look massive when you're coming into the city from the east end. When you're on the Queensway between St. Laurent and Nicholas they are just dead center rising above everything else.

Drove into Lebreton last night along the parkway, it looked awesome! The 3 towers completely change the way you see the skyline. Combined with Zibi and the Gatineau downtown, it feels like a proper big city. Can't wait to have our big rink down there....

BTW this was the fourth time I attended Art of War muay thai event at the museum. I'm by no means a fighter, but it's a great night out with the boys and an amazing venue for a fight. So cool to watch the fighters warming up amongst all the old military weapons and the fighter jet above the stage is spectacular! This is by far my favourite of the national museums in Ottawa, an absolute architectural gem.

Progress March 1st, 2026 taken from Alexandra bridge.

I think we can see the begining of what will be the structure of the slope crown

Glad we still have one of of Raymond Moriyama's gems (and City Hall). Sad we'll soon lose both the Civic Centre and the Ontario Science Museum in Toronto soon.

Looks like it, and both towers too. Impressive how they were able to keep pace on both at the same time.

Whatever these guys did budget and construction-wise they need to have a TED Talk for the construction industry in Ottawa. Or maybe a series:

"You CAN look good on a budget"

"Topping out in less than 3 years"

"Colour is not the enemy"

"Roof features, less is more, but at least do something"

These things are quite noticeable driving north on Bank st. approaching Billings as you are elevated on the bluff.

Looks like we will see that roof shape pretty soon at the rate they are going.

As a side note I'm glad to see Belai on this one. I don't know what Montreal mafia flex Synergy is bringing to town but they seem to have a complete monopoly on formwork.

It's far more visible than I thought from many angles tbh. It's very visible from the Queensway at St-Laurent driving west. Pretty sure I can see it from Montreal Road peaking above the CBD clump from about Codd's Road. Noticed it for the first time driving east of the Queensway from about when the old Corel building is visible to Westgate.

As always, I wish it was taller, like Claridge Icon tall, but it still has far more impact than I imagined.

Funny how far up some of the cadmium red is going. We were all quite alarmed about 2 months ago when on the one side it switched colors so quickly.

I love that its randomized to a certain extent.

From Manulix's latest video, a good shot of the roof and the slope.

And here's a nice foggy shot from Pat on RFC Community Discord.
