Townline

Quote:
Our construction team continues to make great progress at BAND, our 45-storey tower in West Coquitlam, and is proud to share that the project remains on track for December 2026 occupancy.

Here’s a glimpse at what’s happening on site:
Condo Tower: Level 24 has just been poured — more than halfway to the top (45 storeys plus the roof).
Townhomes: Framing is complete, and mechanical rough-ins are underway.
Rental Building: Construction of the rooftop is in progress.

Zoning changes approved for Beedie's three towers next to Port Moody Centre station (with PCI's two tower project in between this one and the station).

https://tricitiesdispatch.com/beedie...wers-approved/

About 1,000 units across 3 towers (32, 34 and 38 floors). Council seems to think Beedie plans to go ahead with construction despite the slow market.

I'm in the area around Inlet District very often, but due to the local geography it's pretty tricky to see into the site unless you live in one of the nearby towers (or have a drone). Will be very interesting to watch that whole area be built up.

the tower going up near the fraser in coquitlam, Fraser Mills is now the tallest building on that side, It's always been dark when I drive that area so I was quite surprised last week and the sun is up earlier now and I could see the progress.

The tower site on Lougheed and Blue Mountain is seeing some action; this is the third attempt at the site. An old office building on the northern part of the site is gone. I only recently noticed that new fencing went up a month or so ago. I am not sure what it is called, but it had some banners up and now some work is going on at the site. So it seems like third time lucky. It's been about 10 years since the site was first proposed.
