Beginning of this sales video shows most of the lower levels balcony glass done and the
mid level glass wall near the first boxes.

That part looks out of place, but I guess it's supposed to be part of the protuding part,
so may look better once the whole thing is finished.

Studios are oddly expensive compared to the rest.

Oh! I see glass on the cantilever, Monday I will take a closer look, maybe be lucky and capture glass going in.
I'm due for an update on my Fifteen Fifteen YT playlist.

I drove by the site again today and will again tomorrow, I'm trying to capture a cantilever being installed.

I didn't expect the protruding tubes to be so reflective
- as that may make them disappear and defeat the design.

Probably has to do with solar gains from the glass?

Some more photos from inside a box

It must be getting noticeable in the skyline from the seawall and Stanley Park.
Next update I (or anyone can post) will include a skyline view, maybe it will show its characteristic with that glass, at night it might show even better.

These were taken on May 26, 2023 by me when I was at Stanley Park near the Totem Poles. Source: Downtown Vancouver Updates

Based on this rendering I figured the tubes would be fritted glass as the rendering shows them whitish.

I think it was just the "rendering" look.

FWIW this is what they said about the cantilever curtain wall for the development application

I just noticed, looking at my second picture, I see that when a room is in a sightline of a neighbouring unit, that wall has no glass, privacy from the adjacent balcony and unit.
In that particular canttilever, i not sure if that will be the case for the rest of them.

Sorry I can't visualize which neighbouring units you are talking about in that photo. I think all the "neighbouring" balconies next to the cantilever boxes are one unit.

Yes , I was thinking that also but maybe not all, (edit: looking at my first picture) to the left of that first cantilever , i see 2 separate balconies (Edit: if that second balcony to the far right in picture 1 is a different occupancy, then if not for the non windowed wall. that neighbour would have a clear view of things you dont talk about outside the bedroom), maybe that unit has 2 balconies not connected to each other , i will look at that floor plan.
Edit: those non windowed panels are for blocking the sightline of that far right unit. Even then, I dont want my guess in the next room or my balcony to have sightline of that room.

I’m really liking the curtain wall treatment we’re seeing. It introduces a sleek contemporary contrast that balances the otherwise rough, industrial character of the design so far.
