Museums - A Photo Thread

In observance of the recent passing of architect Frank Gehry, here are four projects that he designed that are museum-related ones that I have visited.

California Aerospace Museum, a building on the campus of the California Museum of Science and Industry, now called California Science Center, is located in Los Angeles. This project was completed in 1984, and has been closed since 2011 but still stands:







Experience Music Project is a museum in Seattle, Washington that is now called Museum of Pop Culture. It was completed in 2000, and the final photo is taken looking down from the Seattle Space Needle:



























Frederick Weisman Museum of Art is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was completed in 1993:



























Center for the Visual Arts is on the campus of Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio. It houses the museum's library and offices and was completed in 1993. I photographed it in a light rain and the water makes interesting drip patterns on the facade:
