That's an old photo. The hideousness of the Bell Aliant Tower (and Assumption Place) will eventually be muted as high rise development continues (Three Sisters, Gateway Towers, Infinity Tower and hopefully the Ashford/Downing complex).
It is a shame there is no restaurant or observation deck at the top of the Bell Aliant Tower, but, it was not built to support the weight of such a thing. At the very least, Bell should put a lighting display on the tower of some kind, but, I guess that is not a priority for them.
