I was referring to the building’s large dead wall that runs along Pembina. That stretch of sidewalk from Shoppers south past Starbucks and the dental office is bleak.

Oh yes, that wall, along the bus stop.

Yeah, I agree. It's a bit drab, and quite offensive to The Point Pembina across the street.

Pile driving for the new build at The Cambridge lot stopped last week, but oddly they only put piles in for half of the approved layout of the new build. The utility line running along the rerouted back lane still stands, and they haven't driven any piles on the portion of the lot running parallel to Merriam. I haven't found anything on the city's site - could this be a change to the new build design? Or might delays in getting the utility line relocated just mean they're pile driving in two phases? They only put piles in on one side of the utility line, but the drill and pile driver are no longer on site, and all of the staged piles have been used...

Wouldn’t be the first development that was delayed because of MB Hydro…
