100%

Plus these photos aren't making it easy to visualize the floorplans

They also haven't replaced the wordpress logo in their favicon for the tab logo.

The suite looks much better though, layout wise, than that crap on Donald Ave. Which should be expected of a new build vs conversion I suppose. Price point is also much different.

Those fussy "wings" at the top really annoy me. They give me broken accordion vibes.

Are they still putting corten steel cladding or is it being left unfinished?

Surprised Otto didn't add his little red spires in exchange for leaving out the corten steel. Now it'll just look unfinished for eternity.

Yes but this is what d Condos would have been if Sandhu knew how to build within their means.

They probably could have just scrimped on the broken accordions and gaming pc rbg kit though. They don't help.

Regarding the exterior lighting, I much preferred the turquoise lighting they sampled with a few months ago.

This building looks like shit, those exposed concrete walls leaves the building looking in a perpetual state of unfinished. The original plan had white metal cladding covering the concrete sections.

Yeah the exposed concrete looks terrible. I find it stunning that they opted to adorn the thing in shitty LED light strips to attract attention to it, but didn't bother to slap a coat of paint or something on the exposed concrete corners.

The staging is hilarious too. Looks like they went to Jysk and bought whatever was on sale.

I was at a birthday party this evening and ran into an old friend, who introduced me to his wife, and we bonded over our shared visceral disdain/hate for this building.

So at least it’s done one positive (?) thing other than “create housing”

And the interior finishings are pretty unattractive. Terrible flooring choices, carpets in the bedroom, and cupboard materials that clash with the floors. The whole thing looks dated already and it appears they just used whatever stock of materials was on clearance or whatever they had laying around from other projects.
