I guess I would have to see a full view like they did with the last pics. It would make sense though, they were both VOtech schools.

BOK is ginormous, it sticks out like a sore thumb in South Philly. One of Philly's finest art deco buildings imo!

On todays permit report is an application for 300-04 N Broad St, the corner garden lot from Hahnemann:
"Change of Use to Multi-Family Residential Use for three hundred (300) units, with all previously approved uses."

It looks like this lot may also include the parking garage at 308-320 based on an older lot adjustment permit, but im not sure. Im guessing this could be a tower on the corner lot and combined with the existing garage?

Maybe Jeffery Young will introduce another dummy bill to ban housing on Market Street...

Upper half of West Market Street office building will be converted into 273 apartments
https://www.inquirer.com/real-estate/com...iRDajVBp33LLf0ZpDUS_A#Echobox=1769594965

Ten floors of the 27-story Ten Penn Center at 1801 Market St. will be converted from office space to 273 apartments, according to a zoning permit issued Tuesday.

The building was purchased by PMC Property Group last summer for $30 million, less than half the price it was the last time it changed hands in 2006. At that time, it sold for $75 million, or roughly $144 million in today’s dollars, according to the Bureau of Labor Standards’ inflation calculator.

why is the lantern separate from the rest of the spine? Meaning, it's not like there's a progression, where x bulbs are blue one day, x+n the next, and so on, it's the lantern, and then everything else. Is there a technical reason for it, like (in a holiday lighting analogy) the lantern is one light string plugged into one socket, while the rest of it is another long light string plugged into a different socket?

The spine down the side is actually just a room lit up by the interior lights. When they "changed it to green " for the super bowl once, they apparently just brought green lights in. Im not sure if they plan on introducing colors down the spine or not since it would involve lighting the room that way. Unless you mean the side of the lantern that has the smaller lights, which im not sure about

They will be redoing the spine as well. Like PurpleWhiteOut said, it's entirely separate lighting from the lantern so once the lantern lighting is tested and done they are going to begin the spine lighting. They did the same thing with Comcast One. I do wish they could've gone a little further with the lighting, would be cool if they could do animations or gradients like Salesforce can in San Francisco.
