MTO’s focussing on 6-laning the 401, so Highway 7 might stay at 2 lanes for a while.
That said, Perth is exurban Ottawa so a case to extend the freeway from Carleton to there may be had. Ditto for Havelock, which is pretty much exurban Peterborough.
