The lows and highs are almost the same. The forecast for YVR is either 8 or 9°C for the next 24 hours.

Ya saw that too. Must be a Hawaiian based rain event.

-12C with a wind chill of -17 and a mix of sun and clouds. At this point I will take the sun. Ugly, ugly, ugly temperature wise.

Low of -18C (wind chill of -25) this morning.

The warmspot was Cumshewa Island, BC at 11.5C.

Warmest low were Solander Island and Cumshewa Island, BC at 8.2C.

Rain. Life giving, cleansing, refreshing rain. I blew the dust off of my umbrella and used it for the first time in a couple of weeks.
It was mostly cloudy through the day with off and on light rain. Could be a real soaker tonight.

Wednesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 9 C, the low was 8 C.

-14C (windchill -24) in Moncton at 11 AM and sunny.

American weather forecasters are becoming hysterical over the expected bomb cyclone nor'easter this weekend. A bit too soon to know how this will affect Atlantic Canada. I think snowfall amounts will be moderate (at least in southeastern NB), with NS being more severely impacted. The main concern will be the wind field.

For us, the storm will likely begin Sunday overnight, lasting until Monday mid day. At present, the Weather Network is calling for about 15 cm of snow in Moncton. They are expecting 30-35 cm in Halifax.

More cold and sunshine. -13 right now, going up to -10.

Forecast has us going down to -25, which would be our coldest temp since 2016. Lake moderation won't save us as the lakes are now icing over.

Ever single day in the 7 day forecast has sun in it, which you don't see often for the end of January start of February!

7 day highs:

-10/-11/-9/-4/-3/-4/-4

-10C with a wind chill of -18 and sunny. Absolutely no letting up from the cold. At this point this sun is nice for maybe 2-3 more days then it will get old if the temperatures are this cold.

Low of -16C (wind chill of -20) overnight.

The warmspot was White Rock, BC at 13.2C.

Warmest low was Saturna Island, BC at 9.8C.

-17C (windchill -28) in Moncton at 8 AM and sunny, going up to -8C this afternoon.

A special weather statement has been issued for all of NS regarding the the bomb cyclone nor'easter on Sunday, but no such statement has been issued (yet) for NB. The Weather Network is predicting only about 5-10 cm of snow in Moncton.

With a total rainfall accumulation of 188mm in that time spread. Yuck.

Currently 3c with a high of 6c today with some precipitation. Looks like a week ahead reflecting close, but a tad cooler than what Calgary is looking like, highs of 8c and pushing double digits by Wednesday.

Safe to say this is going to be a Winter without Winter this year. Would be nice to get at least one dump of snow before it ends.

Insanity outside... -17C with a wind chill of -27 and sunny. The sun rays were nice as I was inside all day. You should not wonder why BC is experiencing the year without winter... it's because we are experienced the year with endless winter. Pretty safe to say a lot of people are experiencing the longest and coldest (in terms of consistency) winter in their lifetimes.

Low of -22C (wind chill of -33) this morning.

The warmspot was Point Atkinson, BC at 14.3C.

Warmest low was Saturna Island, BC at 9.6C.
