That’ll be a great spot for a gas station! I’d be willing to bet the drive thru is for a Tim Hortons too, cause why not lol.

Thank you for this, but I have another question. Now that they are at the second floor, how are they going to finish this without a crane? They will need one, right!

This Quick-Stop may have a QSR or coffee shop as the Stratford Quick-Stop has one. Tims, maybe!

I heard that the Robins in Stratford has been sold to the Murphys, who own the Pharmacy, for either adding on to their store or for more parking since they lost some do to the new road configuration over that way.

PEI Information Mapping

I thought I would share this PEI government web page for anyone interested in finding PIDs on PEI. There is a menu for finding dimensions and the size of the PID.
I had a friend of mine who lives in a rural community, and he had no idea how big his property was as he married into it. This was a god send as he had no clue where it went or what size it was.
Open the webpage, and zoom into PEI, and you will see the PIDs come into view. You can also search a PID or address.
I hope this is a benefit to you in any way, or just use it for your general knowledge.

Yeah I was confused at first, as I thought it was showing it on the corner where the cemetery is. I never knew the roadway into the airport was also Sherwood Rd.

This is really helpful thanks for Sharing!

Does anyone know of a service that shows a MAP of PEI with PIDs that also shows current zoning and whether or not the property is in the special planning area?

I recently found this forum and I am the co-owner of a pre-fab manufacturer on PEI that built panels for a number of projects on this thread. We are looking for land to build a new and expanded factory on and It's challenging to find land that's large enough (3 acres minimum) and either zoned for our use or able to be rezoned so I'm looking for a place to see zoning, PID and SPA status all in one place. Unfortunately I don't think it exists due to PID/zoning and SPA status being controlled by different governments.

Municipalities with an official plan and land use bylaws would issue the development permit (different than a building permit). Zoning would be handled by those municipalities. Here map showing the areas of the province covered by a municipality, the areas in green handle local land use planning: https://www.princeedwardisland.ca/sites/default/files/publications/municipalboundariesjune23.pdf

Charlottetown, as an example, maintains a public land use map. I’d imagine the other municipalities have one of their website, or could share one if you asked.

https://www.charlottetown.ca/resident_services/maps

If you’re looking at land outside of a municipality, you’d be applying to the province for the development permit.

Either municipal or provincial, rezoning processes exist.

Interesting that the main complainant in that story, Chad Ceretti, who owns Ceretti’s Grocery and Hardware used to be an Irving. I notice that it's now Mobil branded.

Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown is set to be replaced.
The city is looking to build a replacement.
First, before doing that, you better spend the money on a fire hall in the West Royalty area. With the new subdivisions in that area and more apartment buildings yet to come, they need it!
