Good to know. The perch from the Witte "treehouse" building is one of my favorite spots on the San Antonio River.

Guess it is safe to say that beyond the crown elements the exterior of the building is mostly complete now (I believe the river level had a bit of work left however)

The exterior work is mostly complete as CWalk99 stated. Picture taken from last Friday

I can still vaguely remember when this was Bella’s on the Riverwalk (later Houston) and that big sickly tree hung over the sidewalk over the water…now the entire block has been redeveloped!

It's missing some finishing touches but it's basically done. It's a cool looking building but street level is pretty grim. I understand the reasons for that.

Yeah I think the pedestrian aspect is relegated to the river which is fine.

Is there going to be a restaurant at river level on this one?

I believe that is the intent, yes. The owner of this building also owns The Esquire, Tokyo Cowboy, and Hugman's Oasis...

Overall, I'm pleased with how this one turned out. It'll be interesting to see how leasing goes here. The floor plans are... odd... to say the least. But glad to see a more modern looking building coming to fruition in the core that adds residences and appropriate density to an area more historically reserved for vacationers.

It's an improvement over the pawn shop, MetroPCS and payday loan stand that previously was there. Day by day downtown gets cleaner and safer.

Even though it's a blocked link, you can still access some of the pictures.

Very cool design.

As always just wish it was taller. But overall cool building and seems like the units have solid views. I wonder how well it's leasing.
