This does look good, although I wonder about access. It will clearly be accessible from the hospital, but from Dow's Lake it appears the choice will be an enclosed parking garage staircase or that winding pathway. Neither of those provide a simple, easy way to access the roof. To me, if you are looking to entice people to climb 3 or 4 stories in the area, you need to provide an easy direct access route. I'm a little disappointed in that.

For 2.0, you mean field side? Cause we lost the edgewalk that would have given us 360 degrees of new views.
As for access at the Civic Hospital parking park, here's the slide. Each of the orange arrows are a vertical circulation tower with stairs and elevators. This does not count the ramp system, the bridge to the hospital or the bridge to Dow's Lake Station (though that will probably be plugged into the north orange arrow).
