This has been recommended for approval, and demolition of existing buildings has also been recommended for approval. Thanks to Northern Light at UT for unearthing the info.
A small number of proposals in T.O. have recently gone into demo despite the condo market's still being in the worst toilet on record. I presume most of these are predominantly much-needed rental/affordable-rental buildings.
