City Council has officially voted today to expand the Urban Growth Boundary for the first time since it was put in place in the 1990s.

This still needs to be approved by the Province, which I don't think will be an issue since they approved Council's request earlier this year to add an extra 1000 hectares to the boundary expansion.

The boundary expansion includes the pink (residential) and blue (industrial) areas in the map below

UGB vs existing urban growth doesn't look excessive.
