Huh? The Hamilton proposal sucks balls.
The first iteration has the useless open space on the one corner with surface parking area for the stacked townhouses which could have easily been less dense townhomes with integral garages allowing the surface parking lot as communal green space.
The second iteration with towers and townhouses separated by private driveways is a rehash of infamous superblock non market and market rentals as well as condominiums built in the 1970s. Think Jane and Finch. The ones built in the 905 faired better largely because they're walled campuses with gated entrances or about as anti-urban as they come.
