The core shape has changed for the top floors and its appearing to now be the second tallest building in the city. They are currently pouring the 34th floor and there will be 44 total.

The crane tower was recently moved up and the core is getting close to finished only about 5 floors left. Glass is starting to make its way up the exterior as well.

They are currently working on the 42nd floor and it is 44 total so getting close to finished with the core. The top floor has double height ceiling and then the crown as well so a bit more height left.

Also in the second photo to the left you can see a red tower crane that just went up for a 12 story apartment building going up. Fun times in DT Omaha!

The Mutual of Omaha tower taking over as the tallest in Omaha. Look to the right side of the photo and you can see Mutual of Omaha's current building.

The elevator core is topped out. Reportedly the crown will be topped out in November and they are working on the interiors of the 21st floor. Glass is up to about the 30th floor.

Looking good. Excited to see the crown top out and how all the finishing touches come together. This building will be a signature centerpiece for the Omaha skyline.

Looks like the steel is being installed at the 41st and 42 floor today. I haven't seen much activity on the installation of the glass skin in the past week though.

Call me a hater but this building is shaping up to be pretty meh overall. First National is a more unique tower- with far better shaping towards the crown.

But I'll wait for full judgement till its finished.

I agree FNBO tower is better architecture and will age better.

Despite the rather vanilla design and very large parking podium this is still such a win for Omaha to get a new tallest. Especially in this current CBD office environment where you see all kinds of headlines of companies leaving the core and office values struggling. To have a Fortune 300 company plant their flag in a big way in DT Omaha is a huge gain for the city.

Hopefully not another quarter century until our next skyline changing building goes up.

I admit the building is not earth shattering, as far as design is concerned, however, the tower is unique to Omaha and will add a new architectural style to the skyline. The view will be more interesting from all angles.
