Arrow YVR destination fantasies

Many years back, among the "Fantasies" threads (like the transit fantasy thread) there was, I believe, a Destinations Fantasy thread for YVR.

Since that time, of course, we have added some great destinations, and extended YVR's footprint on three continents. But I think that there are destinations waiting as unserved markets, starting with one I will mention here that Seattle, Calgary, and Minneapolis already have (sometimes seasonal) or are starting imminently, and that is Rome FCO. I think that destination would work, maybe seasonally at first, but just to get it up and running.
Also, Id like to see an ME3 (EK or QR most probably), and maybe just maybe BOG or LIM to start (GRU being the biggest market on South America, or am I wrong).

Havana, Aruba, and most of the Caribbean, Melbourne, and Chongqing come to mind. It never made sense to me why Sichuan Airlines flies direct to Chengdu but not Chongqing.

Good ideas. Me, I'd especially like Melbourne back, and And Aruba and other Caribbean destinations could surely work.

I looked that up, and it is very interesting, but please, how do you apply it to more destinations from YVR?

List of destinations I would love to see added to YVR's portfolio; Sapporo, Ho Chi Minh City, Phuket, Bali, Melbourne, Lima, São Paulo, Bogota, Panama City, Dubai, Doha, Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Copenhagen.

Realistically, I'm not sure if we would ever see some of these places, but I am a bit hopeful that we'll see some of them in the near future.

I would also hope for each destinations respective home airline to fly the route due to being able to see more airline liveries at YVR.

More EU routes, and South America routes would be great. I'd add Copenhagen & Berlin to that list.

YES !! That's (IMHO) a perfect list!! If we had all those, we wouldn't really need any more, unles a place became a new economic hotspot with a population to match.

Would love to see a Lisbon route, however, Humberto Delgado can't handle any more flights; it's already at basically full capacity. Plus, I believe there are size restrictions.

When the new airport gets built in Alcochete or Montijo perhaps their may be a new opportunity.
