I think NYC can issue 3 separate licenses to proposals that get past selected committees. Technically NYC can also decline to issue the licenses.

Apparently only three proposals actually passed through committee, so...

Bally's, Hard Rock, and Resorts World. Those 3 now have their own threads. They are to officially receive their licenses before the new year.

I can't find more information on this so I apologize if this is repetitive but do we know how much space is dedicated to restaurant/retail? Also, isn't there supposed to be an auditorium of some sort? The casino would be an interesting spot for Cosm to locate in Chicago especially as Da Bears foolishly pack their bags for AH. There will be demand for Cosm and making the casino a destination for people who don't gamble is important. Come down from the hotel to watch a movie, concert or, of course, a game. Same applies for residents.

We have a general idea of the amenities more or less in PD1426.

1 F&B on Lower Level 2 by the Northeast plaza and lobby.
3 F&B and 1 Restaurant and Retail on Lower Level 1 opening to the Riverwalk.
3 F&B, 1 Café, 1 Bar and a Food Hall on Level 1 on main Casino Floor/Hotel Lobby/Event Center.
1 Banquet Space on Level 2 near Exhibition Hall.
1 Spa/Fitness Center on Level 6.
Private Club on Floor 35.
Rooftop Restaurant on Floor 36.

Amazing - all three proposals look pretty great, glad that all of them are moving forward.

Same. I underestimated the speed with which they have been able to get this moving.

Is Cosm Chicago in the works?

Regardless of what the Bears do, it would probably make a lot of sense for it to go into the casino site.

Yes, the casino will have a concert venue/event center.

Cosm won't go in the casino, but there are other development sites around it. Those are tentatively slated for residential highrises, but they could switch to something else. I guess it depends if Bally's is willing to share their parking. They will have a sh*t-ton of it...

The exterior renderings are also helpful, this casino has gone through MANY redesigns and changes of architect so it's good to see they haven't pull yet another bait & switch. I'm fairly happy with the latest design, it's still massive and overscaled like any casino but at least they're trying to engage the surrounding city and riverfront.
I wonder how representative those interior images are. They look like cut-and-paste from some rando casino. Like they were included in Bronx presentation just to make it look more impressive.

That's the thing; with a few rare exceptions, they all look like that inside.

At 447 ft, isn't this the second tallest building under construction in Chicago? I am surprised it doesn't have its own thread on the "Highrise Construction" subforum.

It is and will soon be the tallest under construction once 400 LSD tops out, but I'm not sure if it needs a thread separate from this one since it is the same project as the casino.

Some video posted online to TikTok from across the river showing progress as of mid December.

https://www.tiktok.com/@brianreallychicago/video/7584925883668892958

After looking through the site plans, I would also assume the following dining options.

NE Plaza and Lobby - Sports Bar and Grill.

Riverwalk Restaurant - Italian.
Riverwalk Cafés and Retail - Misc.

Casino Floor Restaurant - Steakhouse/Seafood.
Casino Floor Cafe - American.
Casino Floor NW Corner - Sportsbook + Lounge.
Main Casino Bar - Round Bar.
Casino Floor Beverage - Coffee.
Casino Floor Food Hall - Pizza/Noodles/Tacos.

Rooftop Restaurant - Nightclub.
