Quiet heritage redevelopments we are proud of would be Nonsuch, Patent 5, Botanical Paper Works, 44 Princess or 460 Main Street. 833 King Street and 800 King Street in Toronto had an interesting heritage component including hard lofts.
Heritage buildings in Winnipeg are a very difficult financial proposition. There is little demand at any price and those who try to save them have an emotional attachment and dare I say some financial capacity.
Unfortunate, our developments have occurred in Film Studios, Trucking Logistics and horizontal short term parking with little appetite for adaptive reuse in the Winnipeg market any more.
