ok the Burnet Drive in was located at 6400 Burnet Road.

The street side marquee is still standing and in use by the storage facility.

Just a stone’s throw north of Lamar Middle School.

The Chief was on the west side of North Lamar up near the Koenig area, IIRC.

I can see Armybrat and Genral knocking back shots at the Hole in the Wall in 1983, listening to Wendy O'Williams and the Plasmatics shock the crowd as Brat whipped The G in a game of 8Ball.
After getting kicked out for hitting on some Fiji's girl, they stumble over to Players for a greasy burger before the closed at midnight.
