In the parking garage underneath Liberty 2 parkway was 4 renderings up, i wasnt able to grab photos but 3 were for projects i recognized in west center city, but the 4th was a taller slender building, that looked like this? Looked more similar to the Laurel, lots of glass and lighter metals i believe

I was just in Seattle and comparing skylines; pretty similar (though they benefit from elevation gain up from the waterfront). We need to get back into the lead

This reminds me I walked by the site about a week ago and there was a concrete truck there. Didn't get my hopes because they hadn't started digging or anything.

Feels like this really breaks a drought of new skyscrapers

Also, I wish more builds in Philly were this shape. Only 267 units but 550+ feet.
For comparison, 418 Spring Garden Street is 329 units in 137 feet.
I get there are economic and zoning barriers, but the skyline would be so much more impressive if it had less wide/fat buildings. Not realistic, but one can dream.

The project was originally proposed as a 50-story building. In July, Pearl Properties President Jim Pearlstein said in a statement to the Business Journal that revised plans called for the building to have 45 stories.

previously in this thread, it was identified that the floor to floor height was 11.6 feet. if that is still the case, 45 x 11.6 = 522 feet.

Usually the first floor and top floor have extra height. So maybe ~530-540'? Either way, basically the height of Arthaus (or a tad taller).

Does anyone know what the exterior materials will be? I would hope some sort of precast shall and not metal.

Not to be negative, but I assume Pearl isn't going to start on the Jewelers Row tower anytime soon, as I can't imagine they would stretch themselves with 2 massive projects as once.

Or....the economic climate might be getting a little more conducive to building (primary through rate reductions).
