I don't know if it is still the case. Several years ago someone in the industry told me that Vancouver based cruses are more popular with European than Seattle. For Americans it tends to attract an older client base.
Many of the sailing out of Vancouver are 14 day round trip (also sold as a 7 day one way). Europeans have longer vacations.
Many of the Seattle trips are 7 day round trip. Better fit for working families in the US that can't get away for longer.
