You could say the same thing about Sask Drive and Albert but things aren't successful there either. It's about easy access in and out, not about cars driving by. It's also not big enough for a busy drive thru. I maintain it's a horrible spot for a Starbucks but I guess we'll see.

A woman with a background in the large hospitality sector has extensively renovate a house at 723 Victoria Ave for a café and event venue.

Do you know anything about the new owners? Do they own other restaurants or have experience in the industry? I'm hoping they do well, Avenue has easily been one of Regina's best restaurants.

I was surprised how long they were closed (months) for renovations. From that photo...it looks the exact same. Maybe it was kitchen renovations?

They may have posted an old photo. I don't think it changed much though.

I keep hearing rumors that we may be getting an IHOP at the old Rotisserie/Chili's location on Vic East.
Can anyone substantiate this?
