There is existing underground parking here so maybe that will be utilized. It’d be nice if the parking situation was half underground and half above ground. Ideally all underground, but I doubt that’s feasible.
"Houston-based Hines signed a ground lease with the Texas General Land Office for the site of the defunct William P. Hobby Jr. State Office Building and will redevelop it, a company spokesperson confirmed to the Austin Business Journal.
The spokesperson for Hines said the company is in the early planning stages of the redevelopment and declined to provide details."
