You can buy $20 Blue Jays tickets by purchasing General Admission (GA) tickets, often called Outfield District tickets, through the official Blue Jays website or MLB Ballpark app. But they go fast.

I’ve been in the GA section a few times. Great atmosphere and especially on a summer night.

Incredible game, incredible series. Jays exceeded expectations so far. They have the Dodgers Juggernaut waiting for them now.

Regardless what happens. An AL Pennant and in the World Series for first time in over 30 years is something to be really proud of.

Amazing experience as a parent because my kids are my age when they last won in the 90s.

Agreed. This is already a spectacularly successful season for the Jays. If they fall to the Dodgers, I really hope people won't shit all over them. As you said, they've already exceeded expectations and the whole country should be proud of them regardless of the outcome.

Now, let's show Ohtani how baseball is really played - by a team!!!

The last time this happened, I was in high school. My friends and I camped outside the Skydome in tents to get tickets the next morning.

And I'm not worried about the LAD's. We ended the season with better stats than they did; our toughest competition was the Yankees, and we beat them.

As a lifelong Giants fan... FTD!

Go Blue Jays! Plus y'all have Kevin Gausman who was pretty good for us when he was on the Giants from 2020-2021.

Biggest home runs in Blue Jays Playoff History?

Joe Carter 1993 World Series winning homer
George Springer 2025
Joes Bautista 2015
Roberto Alomar 1992 game tying 9th inning homer against Oakland.
Vladdy's grand Slam 2025
Kelly Gruber 1992 game tying homer against Atlanta.

This is probably the order I would go with for top 5, there are some other ones I'm forgetting I'm sure.

Edwin Encarnacion - 2016 walk-off HR in the 11th against Baltimore to win the AL Wild Card game.

There are those who seem to love to see Toronto teams lose. And I'm not sure why... I love when the Argos do, but that's because I'm a die-hard Ticats fan.

I put Alomar's homer as number 2 behind Joe. Up to that point, the Jays had done nothing except walk down the same road towards ALCS defeat they had done 2 of the 3 prior seasons. This was the moment we realized the Jays could actually match up with the A's and actually get to Eckersley. Sure, they were up 2-1 in the series at the time, but they were down in game 4 and looking like this was just going to be typical of the Jays not being able to step it up when needed. So I saw Alomar's homer changed that, and some can make the argument this was bigger even still than Joe's home run in 1993.

Pent-up regional competition, hatred, jealousy. I can understand it, to a degree. In any country where one city gets the lion's share of attention - in Canada, in part because of media concentration - resentment understandably builds elsewhere. People in Okatoks or Fredericton don't want to be told about some local Toronto event/occurrence that means nothing to them, and I don't blame them. They also don't want to be inundated with "Canada's Team" bombast, when they might see it differently. As a consequence, they cheer against Toronto sports teams, even when the opponent is American, at a time when Canadians should be, and mostly are, pulling together to counter sovereignty-endangering American hegemonic machinations.

The Blue Jays have been the only MLB team in Canada since the end of the 2004 season. Can't compare that to NHL or CFL.

I am sure if there were a BC-based MLB team one certain forumer would go ape shit.

I think some people feel there's a 'Toronto centre of the universe' mentality, and thus the rooting against the sports teams.
I don't feel that way, to me Toronto/GTA is a huge area with a lot people, of course it will get more media coverage. I'm perfectly fine with it, but I have found others who feel differently.

I will say that when it comes to the Blue Jays though, the majority of Canadians appear to root for them.

It's the worst with hockey because TSN and other networks are dominated by Leafs coverage to the detriment of every other Canadian team.

Surely with all the AI crap available they can pinpoint exactly what you want to see. Nah. Not TSN.

Nah, nothing tops Carter’s home run, a home run that instantly wins a World Series is rare and historical. That’s why it’s been shown over and over. I would also rank Springer’s as the second biggest and Bautista’s as the third. Those homers were series deciding home runs. If they aren’t hit the Blue Jays don’t win those series.
Alomar’s was big, but it only tied the score in game 4 of a 7 game series. Important, yes, but not a singular game changing home run.

I agree Joe's is number 1 but I can see the argument, which I have heard a lot the last few days on various podcasts, about Alomar (walk before you can run kind of thing). But if we are going by walk off wins then it has to be Carter then Encarnacion. I guess we can go Springer then Bautista based on level of the series they occurred in and the situation in each game.

Toronto has the talent to win it all, but the real question is would MLB and the umpires actually give them the chance? The league has already been in the crosshairs in the Trump administration and a Blue Jays victory is probably the last thing they want right now.

Tuck Frump, he's not long for this planet anyway, who cares what MAGA thinks. Anything he touches rots.

The Hockey World Juniors, the Ryder Cup, and now let's let him ruin MLB and the Dodgers' chances with his pathetic and worthless 2 cents. The man can't even golf well.

Next year, he can ruin the World Cup, though he kind of already has, and Mexico has benefited.

I was just looking at the stadium match-up, size and attendance records and didn't realize until now that The Skydome (Rogers Centre) is the 6th oldest stadium in the MLB still in use. IMO the Skydome has never looked so good. I hope they continue with the improvements.

Go Jays!

Who's watched it all? I left the last 30 minutes for after game 1.

Seems pretty obvious to me who killed Montreal's darlings.
